Electrical fault analysis is widely used in forensic science to determine the causes of fires and explosions resulting from electrical issues. Experts examine damaged wires, conductors, and devices to locate the point of origin and identify the nature of the fault. This analysis supports legal proceedings by providing accurate, evidence-based reports and contributes to developing new safety standards for buildings and industrial facilities. Combining electrical knowledge with forensic investigation achieves a dual goal: justice and prevention. Related SDGs: Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.
