Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, Dean of the College of Science, the University President expressed his deep appreciation for the outstanding efforts made by faculty members and students who participated in the recent ceremony celebrating the university’s remarkable progress in several prestigious global rankings. Unprecedented Achievements: Al-Mustaqbal University has secured first place in Iraq across a number of internationally recognized rankings, including: Times Interdisciplinary Science Ranking QS Sustainability Ranking Times Arab University Ranking, where the university achieved an advanced position within the 101–125 band across the Arab world—an unprecedented accomplishment highlighting the university’s leadership and continuous advancement. The celebration was held on Saturday, 29 November 2025, in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and the local government, in an atmosphere filled with pride and appreciation for the efforts invested in elevating the university’s standing and strengthening the global presence of Iraqi higher education institutions. In his speech, the University President emphasized that these achievements mark only the beginning of a long journey of excellence, affirming that Al-Mustaqbal University will continue to serve as a beacon of knowledge and a source of national pride.
