As part of promoting human and national values among students, a workshop for students of the Art Education Department was held, inspired by the biography of the martyr Ali Rashm, as an enduring example of sincerity, sacrifice, courage, and true patriotism.
The workshop addressed the most important lessons drawn from his life, including devotion to the cause, self-sacrifice, steadfastness in the face of challenges, commitment to values and ethics, and love of the homeland that is expressed through actions rather than words. These themes contributed to raising students’ awareness of the role of art in instilling values and shaping the individual.
The workshop was delivered by instructors Hani Adhab and Ammar Nadhim, who emphasized the importance of using art as an educational and cultural tool to transmit noble values to future generations and to enhance the spirit of social responsibility and national belonging.
This workshop was conducted within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, as it supports the provision of quality education that promotes human values, develops students’ cultural and ethical awareness, and contributes to preparing a conscious and responsible generation toward its homeland and society.
