The Psychological Guidance and Educational Counseling Committee in the Department of Medical Instrumentation Engineering Techniques organized a series of three guidance meetings with groups of third-year students, attended by the Committee Head, Assist. Prof. Dr. Saad Mutashar Abbas, and committee members. The meetings covered important themes, including explaining the concept of intellectual terrorism, its forms, methods of practice, and its negative consequences. Additionally, the discussions focused on prevention and treatment methods and the role of the educational institution in intellectually protecting students and promoting values of moderation and constructive dialogue. During the meetings, the committee also listened to students' opinions and feedback and noted several problems they face. Work was immediately undertaken to address these issues in cooperation with the Head of the Department of Medical Instrumentation Engineering Techniques, Prof. Dr. Bayan Mahdi Sabbar, thereby contributing to the creation of a supportive, psychologically, and intellectually safe university environment. This activity is part of the department's commitment to reinforcing the guidance and educational role and establishing intellectual awareness among students, consistent with the University's mission to build a balanced academic personality capable of confronting contemporary intellectual challenges.
