As part of the scientific and awareness activities organized by the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Universit Al-Mustaqbal, the Department of Industrial College Techniques held a workshop titled “Rationalizing Water Consumption in Hemodialysis Units: A Professional and Ethical Responsibility”, presented by the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Younis Abdul Redha Al-Khafaji. The workshop addressed the importance of rationalizing water consumption in hemodialysis units due to its direct impact on preserving water resources, ensuring the sustainability of health services, and raising awareness about the professional and ethical responsibility of workers in health institutions. This workshop came in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal Six: Clean Water and Sanitation, which focuses on ensuring the availability and sustainable management of water for all. The workshop witnessed active participation from the attendees and concluded with an emphasis on the importance of continuing such purposeful activities that contribute to instilling environmental and health awareness concepts within educational and health institutions.
