Sunday, 14 December 2025 On the occasion of World Water Week, the College of Nursing at the University of Al-Mustaqbal organized an extensive awareness campaign under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed, Vice Dean, with active participation from students serving as Sustainability Ambassadors. The campaign aimed to enhance awareness of the importance of conserving water resources and rationalizing their consumption. The campaign included awareness activities held throughout the university campus, featuring the distribution of guidance brochures to students and staff. These brochures addressed methods for rationalizing water use in daily life, the importance of optimal water utilization, and the role of educational institutions in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 6 related to clean water and sanitation. The campaign also witnessed positive interaction from students, who expressed their interest in the awareness content presented, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in fostering a culture of environmental and social responsibility and promoting positive behaviors toward natural resources. The organizers affirmed that this activity is part of a series of events that the College of Nursing at the University of Al-Mustaqbal is keen to hold, in line with its scientific and societal mission, and in its pursuit of preparing students who are aware of environmental and sustainability issues and capable of making an effective contribution to serving the community.
