A guidance workshop on martyrs was held at the Art Education Department of the College of Fine Arts on the occasion of Victory Day. The workshop was delivered by lecturer Asst. Prof. Hani Azab, in which he addressed the status of martyrs and their role in defending the الوطن and consolidating the values of sacrifice and selflessness, in addition to highlighting the impact of their sacrifices on strengthening national belonging among department students. The workshop aimed to raise students’ awareness of the importance of drawing humanitarian and national lessons from the lives of martyrs and reinforcing concepts of social responsibility and national awareness, contributing to the building of a generation that is conscious of its values and history. This workshop falls within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, which seeks to promote peace and build safe societies based on justice and respect for human values.
