Forensic Evidence Department Holds Workshop on Dealing with Theft Crimes through Hypnosis

The Department of Forensic Evidence held a scientific workshop entitled “Dealing with the Crime of Theft through Hypnosis”, under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the respected Dean of the College of Science, with the direct attendance of the Head of the Department of Forensic Evidence, Assistant Professor Dr. Sami Abdul Hussein Habbana. The workshop aimed to shed light on modern scientific and psychological methods for dealing with theft crimes, particularly the use of hypnosis as a supportive tool in criminal investigations. It also sought to enhance the competencies of professionals in the forensic field and raise academic and professional awareness among students and researchers. This workshop aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly: Goal (4): Quality Education, by supporting academic education and specialized training. Goal (16): Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by strengthening criminal justice and building the capacities of security and judicial institutions. At the conclusion of the workshop, the organizers emphasized the importance of continuing such scientific activities that keep pace with modern developments and contribute to serving the community and enhancing security and stability.
