On the occasion of the International Human Rights Day, and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), the Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized an electronic workshop entitled “Commemorating the Issuance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.” The workshop was delivered by Mr. Zaid Fadhil Rasool, Head of the Human Rights Unit at the Deanship of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, on Wednesday, 10/12/2025. The workshop addressed the importance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its role in promoting the principles of human dignity, justice, and equality, as well as its impact on enhancing human rights awareness within educational institutions. This workshop reflects the commitment of the college and the Department of Anesthesia Techniques to spreading a culture of human rights and raising awareness among students and staff, contributing to the development of aware and responsible educational institutions.
