A scientific workshop entitled “Educational and Psychological Counseling in Achieving the Goals of the Educational Process” was held and delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Imran Issa and Asst. Lect. Nora Fawzi Abda. The workshop aimed to highlight the pivotal role of educational and psychological counseling in supporting the educational process and building a well-balanced student personality.
The workshop addressed the concept of educational and psychological counseling and its importance in dealing with behavioral and psychological problems that students may face, as well as its role in enhancing psychological and social adjustment and creating a safe and motivating learning environment. It also discussed modern counseling methods and the role of the educational counselor in guiding students academically and psychologically, contributing to improved academic achievement and the fulfillment of educational objectives.
The workshop emphasized the importance of cooperation among the educational counselor, teaching staff, educational administration, and families in providing integrated support for students and reducing problems that may affect their educational journey. The event witnessed positive interaction from attendees through discussions and contributions that enriched its topics, with an emphasis on the need to continue organizing such awareness workshops due to their positive impact on the development of the educational process.
