The Department of Medical Biotechnology organized a student scientific workshop entitled “Genetic Analysis Using the PCR Technique”, delivered by (Asst. Prof. Dr. Sara Kamel Aboud), and attended by third-year students of the department. The workshop was part of the department’s scientific activities aimed at enhancing students’ academic and practical skills. The workshop provided a comprehensive explanation of the principles of the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technique and highlighted its importance in genetic analysis and medical diagnostics. It also covered the basic procedural steps and practical applications of this technique in medical and research laboratories. The workshop witnessed active interaction from students through scientific discussions and questions. This workshop comes within the department’s ongoing efforts to keep pace with recent scientific developments and to strengthen the practical aspect of students’ education, contributing to the preparation of qualified scientific cadres capable of meeting the requirements of the medical and life sciences fields.
