The Department of Medical Biotechnology organized a scientific workshop entitled “Glucose Testing in the Human Body”, delivered by (Lecturer M.Sc. Suja Jawad Abid), as part of the department’s scientific activities aimed at enhancing students’ medical and laboratory knowledge. The workshop highlighted the importance of glucose testing as a key indicator for monitoring blood sugar levels and evaluating various body functions. It also discussed the causes and effects of high and low glucose levels on overall health, along with detailed explanations of laboratory testing methods, result interpretation, and their relation to clinical cases. The workshop witnessed active participation from students through discussions and questions, contributing to a deeper understanding of the practical and theoretical significance of this test in medical diagnostics and monitoring glucose-related health conditions. This workshop reflects the department’s commitment to developing both the practical and scientific aspects of students’ education, linking theoretical concepts with practical applications, and preparing qualified scientific personnel capable of meeting professional field requirements.
