On Monday, December 15, 2025, an educational scientific workshop entitled “First Aid” was held through a joint collaboration between the College of Nursing and the College of Agricultural Technologies, hosted at the College of Agricultural Technologies. The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Mahdi, along with a number of faculty members and a large group of students from both colleges. This event came within the framework of supporting scientific activities aimed at enhancing health awareness and developing students’ practical skills. The lectures were delivered by Dr. Mahdi Hamza Mandour and Dr. Ali Hussein Hassab, who addressed the fundamental principles of first aid, proper methods for dealing with emergency situations, and the importance of rapid initial intervention in saving lives and reducing health complications. The workshop aimed to provide students with essential knowledge and skills in the field of first aid, and to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation between the College of Nursing and the College of Agricultural Technologies, thereby contributing to community service and advancing the health and educational sectors.
