The Media Department at the College of Arts and Humanities, Future University, held a scientific seminar entitled “Water Conservation”, as part of its efforts to promote environmental awareness and highlight the importance of water resources and ways to protect them from waste and pollution. The seminar featured the participation of Assistant Professor Dr. Hamza Ubaiss, Dr. Mundhir Ali Ahmed, and Assistant Lecturer Hamid Shakir, who addressed several key topics focusing on the current state of water resources in Iraq, the challenges facing this vital resource, and the role of academic and media institutions in promoting a culture of rational use and water conservation. This seminar is part of a series of scientific activities organized by the Media Department, aiming to link academic perspectives with societal issues and to strengthen the role of media in supporting sustainable development and raising environmental awareness among students and the community.
