In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, the Department of Medical Biotechnology organized an awareness campaign entitled “A Life Without Smoking”, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote health awareness and encourage healthy lifestyles within the university community.

The campaign was supervised by Prof. Dr. Hasaneen Khalil Ibrahim, Tuqa Adel Aboud, and Madaloula Moayed Fayiq, and aimed to highlight the health and psychological risks of smoking, explain its negative effects on individuals and society, and emphasize the importance of quitting smoking in preventing chronic diseases. This campaign aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (3): Good Health and Well-being, which focuses on promoting public health and ensuring healthy lives for people of all ages through awareness and the prevention of harmful behaviors.
