The Department of Medical Biotechnology held a scientific workshop entitled “Research and Development of Drugs and Antibiotics”, delivered by Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Naji, with the attendance of third-stage students. The workshop was organized as part of the department’s scientific activities aimed at enhancing students’ scientific knowledge and practical understanding.
The workshop aimed to highlight the latest scientific approaches in the field of pharmaceutical research and development, particularly drugs and antibiotics. It addressed the stages of drug discovery and development, methods for evaluating efficacy and safety, and discussed the challenges related to antibiotic resistance and the importance of scientific research in addressing this issue.
