Ms. Alaa Hussein Abdul-Amir and Ms. Sally Selan Hussein, members of the Women Empowerment Committee at the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, participated in the meeting held by the Women Empowerment Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University, as part of strengthening coordination and follow-up on the implementation of women empowerment programs and activities at the university level. The meeting discussed mechanisms for developing the work of Women Empowerment Committees in the colleges and reviewed future plans and proposed activities aimed at supporting women academically and socially. Emphasis was placed on the importance of unifying efforts between the colleges and the Women Empowerment Unit to achieve the objectives of the National Plan for Women Empowerment. In addition, Ms. Sally Selan Hussein delivered a presentation highlighting the accomplished activities and the planned future activities of the Women Empowerment Committee at the college, outlining the key areas addressed during the previous period and affirming the committee’s commitment to ensuring the continuity of impactful initiatives that enhance the role of women and contribute to serving the university community.
