Scientific Workshop on Stem Cells and Their Medical Importance at Al-Mustaqbal University As part of its scientific activities aimed at enhancing medical and academic awareness, the Department of Medical Biotechnology at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop entitled “Stem Cells and Their Medical Importance,” delivered by Ms. Sarah Raheem Hamza, a lecturer in the department. The workshop focused on introducing stem cells and their types, highlighting the importance of storing stem cells for newborns and their future role in treating various diseases, in addition to their promising applications in regenerative medicine. It also addressed the methods of stem cell preservation and storage, emphasizing their long-term health significance. The workshop aimed to raise scientific awareness among students and participants and to shed light on recent medical advancements, contributing to the support of the academic and research process at the university.
