The Department of Medical Biotechnology organized a scientific workshop entitled “Shipping of Hazardous Materials”, delivered by Lecturer Assistant (M.M. Rasha Fajr Kazzar), as part of its ongoing scientific activities aimed at enhancing the practical knowledge of students and academic staff. The workshop addressed the fundamental concepts of hazardous materials shipping, the types and classification of such materials, as well as the international regulations and guidelines that must be followed to ensure safety during transportation and shipping, particularly in medical laboratories and research institutions. It also highlighted the importance of adhering to safety standards to minimize potential risks and protect individuals and the environment.
