Within the framework of its continuous efforts to enhance its academic standing and expand international cooperation, Universit Al-Mustaqbal participated actively as a sponsoring institution in the Third International Conference on Health and Medical Technologies, organized by Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and hosted by Istanbul Aydin University from December 17 to 18, 2025. The conference witnessed wide participation from Iraqi and international universities and academic institutions, as well as representatives of the medical and industrial sectors.
The university was represented at this important scientific event by Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Universit Al-Mustaqbal, accompanied by an academic delegation from the College of Health and Medical Technologies. As part of the conference activities, Dr. Ali Shaker Majdi, Dean of the College of Engineering, delivered a speech on behalf of the University President, emphasizing the importance of scientific research in supporting medical innovation and strengthening integration between health and technological fields in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The conference was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, represented by Professor Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, Head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, with the participation of Professor Dr. Maysar Al-Abbadi, Cultural Attaché in Ankara, alongside Dr. Ibrahim Aydin, President of Istanbul Aydin University, and Dr. Hussein Latif Al-Zubaidi, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University.
The delegation of Universit Al-Mustaqbal was headed by Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qaim, Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, and included:

The conference featured distinguished scientific participation, with the presentation of 172 research papers covering modern health technologies, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and medical industries and devices. These contributions aimed to translate scientific research outputs into practical applications that support the development of the healthcare sector and promote economic growth.
The conference activities also facilitated the exchange of expertise and the strengthening of scientific cooperation among researchers and international academic institutions, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the areas of good health and well-being, quality education, and societal welfare.
At the conclusion of the conference, a number of scientific figures, researchers, and supporting institutions were honored in recognition of their efforts and effective contributions to the success of this important scientific event, which reflects Universit Al-Mustaqbal’s vision of becoming a center of scientific and technological excellence and a key driver of innovation in the health and medical industries
