Under the directives of the University President, Mr. Hassan, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Dr. Zahraa, and follow-up by the Head of the Anesthesia Department, Dr. Ahmed Khudair Al-Humairi, the Anesthesia Department organized a visit to the Burn Unit at Imam Al-Sadiq Hospital with second-year students. The visit included several scientific and humanitarian activities. During the visit, the hospital director, Dr. Ahmed, was met to discuss ways of cooperation between the university and the hospital. The team also donated a number of Surgical gowns and various burn dressings to the ward. Additionally, the representative of the Turkish company responsible for the burn unit met with the students and praised the humanitarian initiative presented by the students of the Anesthesia Department – College of Health and Medical Technologies at Future University. The visit also included attending a scientific lecture delivered by the hospital staff on burns and their treatment, as well as a tour of the burn operating theater to observe the medical devices and equipment used. This visit aimed to enhance the practical experience of the students, strengthen cooperation between the university and hospitals, and contribute to supporting humanitarian efforts and community service, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being for All.
