The Department of Anesthesia Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the celebration organized by the university on the occasion of World Soil Day, held on December 15, 2025, which witnessed a remarkable turnout exceeding 400 ambassadors, both male and female, from various departments and university formations. The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Anesthesia Technologies, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khudair Abis, along with the department coordinators Dr. Sajad Alwan and Mr. Ali Haider Al-Azzam, as well as Mr. Ali Qasim Jawad, accompanied by a number of students from the Department of Anesthesia Technologies. This participation came in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 15 (Life on Land), which focuses on protecting terrestrial ecosystems, conserving soil, and combating land degradation. The participation aimed to enhance environmental awareness among students and highlight the importance of soil as a vital natural resource in achieving environmental sustainability and food security, in addition to promoting a culture of environmental responsibility and teamwork within the university community.
