Al-Mustaqbal University participated as a sponsoring institution in the 3rd International Conference on Health and Medical Technologies, organized by Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and hosted by Istanbul Aydin University from 17 to 18 December 2025. The conference saw wide participation from Iraqi and international universities, academic institutions, and representatives from the industrial and medical sectors. The university was represented by Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the university president, alongside a delegation from the College of Health and Medical Technologies. Dr. Zahraa Haleem Al-Qaim, Dean of the College, participated in the conference, representing the college in scientific discussions and enhancing academic cooperation with international institutions. The university delegation also included Dr. Fatima Hashim, Head of the Department of Cosmetic and Laser Technologies, Dr. Amir Mazhar Hadi, representative for Scientific Affairs, Eng. Haider Mohammed Nasser, Director of Administration, and Eng. Hawraa Haleem, Activities Coordinator. The conference featured the presentation of 172 research papers covering modern health technologies, artificial intelligence, digital applications, and medical devices and industries, aiming to apply scientific research results in practical ways that serve the healthcare sector and support economic development. The event promoted knowledge exchange and strengthened scientific collaboration among researchers and international institutions, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the fields of health, well-being, and quality education. At the conclusion of the conference, many scientific figures, researchers, and supporting institutions were honored for their contributions, reflecting the university’s vision to be a center of scientific and technological excellence and a source of innovation in the health and medical industry.
