The Media Department at the College of Arts and Humanities held a scientific seminar entitled “Water Scarcity in Iraq: Challenges and Solutions,” delivered by Dr. Munther Ali Ahmed and Mr. Muntadhar Hussein Abd. The seminar was attended by Dr. Maytham Al-Suwaidi, Assistant Dean of the College, along with a number of department heads, faculty members, and staff. The seminar addressed the main factors contributing to the worsening water scarcity crisis in Iraq, highlighting effective approaches to addressing this issue and presenting a set of proposed solutions and treatments. The speakers also delivered a visual presentation that included important explanatory points, enriching the seminar’s key themes. The seminar witnessed active interaction from the audience through questions and discussions, adding a valuable dialogic dimension that enhanced its academic significance.
