The Department of English Language and Literature organized a specialized training course on First Aid, in cooperation with the Iraqi Red Crescent Society / Babylon Branch. The course was held over two days, Saturday and Sunday, with a total of four training hours per day.The course witnessed the participation of the department’s coordinator, Asst. Lecturer Mohammed Younis, along with a number of department students. It included both theoretical and practical sessions aimed at introducing participants to the fundamentals of first aid and raising their health awareness, thereby enhancing their ability to deal with emergency situations within and beyond the university community.
