The Department of Biology organized an awareness campaign entitled “Recycling and Its Impact on the Environment”, under the supervision of Lecturer M.M. Zainab Nazim Aziz, as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to enhance environmental awareness and promote sustainability concepts among students and the university community. The campaign aimed to highlight the importance of recycling and its role in preserving natural resources and reducing environmental pollution. It focused on educating students about proper recycling practices and their short-term and long-term benefits. The campaign also addressed strategies for waste reduction and encouraged the use of recyclable materials in daily life. The campaign included the distribution of educational and guidance materials designed to strengthen environmental awareness among students and motivate them to adopt eco-friendly behaviors.
