Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Muhanna, the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, along with the teaching staff, welcomed the first-year students as part of the department’s efforts to enhance direct communication with new students and prepare them for the university environment. The meeting included an introduction to the department and its academic objectives, an explanation of the nature of the study program, as well as guidance on adhering to university regulations and instructions. Students were also encouraged to actively participate in scientific and cultural activities. During the meeting, a representative for the first academic year was elected, following a nomination and selection process conducted by the students themselves. This step reflects the spirit of cooperation and democratic practice and enhances student participation in supporting the educational process and strengthening communication between students and the department administration. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Head of the Department and the teaching staff affirmed their full support for first-year students, wishing them a successful and academically outstanding academic year.
