As part of the Colors Festival held in celebration of the Christmas and New Year holidays, the College of Fine Arts at Al-Mustaqbal University hosted the “Colors of Birth” Symposium, which was marked by a remarkable and influential interaction from the teaching staff. This participation reflected a strong spirit of collaboration between academic practice and artistic application, contributing significantly to enriching the symposium through high-level artistic and intellectual expertise clearly reflected in its outcomes. The contributions of the faculty members varied between direct artistic supervision of creative works, presenting distinguished visual art pieces, and leading interactive artistic discussions with students. This gave the event an applied educational dimension and helped strengthen communication and the exchange of experiences between instructors and students within a stimulating creative environment. These contributions are in harmony with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal Four (Quality Education), by reinforcing concepts of creative education, developing critical thinking skills, and providing an integrated learning environment that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application. This, in turn, contributes to enhancing students’ artistic and cultural capacities. The organizers of the symposium emphasized that the active role of the teaching staff was a key factor in the success of the event, affirming Al-Mustaqbal University’s position as a leading academic institution in supporting the arts, fostering creativity, and keeping pace with the requirements of sustainable education.
