On the occasion of the International Day of Human Solidarity, and under the gracious patronage of the Honorable President of the University, with the supervision of the Honorable Dean of the College of Science and the direct supervision of the Head of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems, the Sustainability Ambassadors of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems organized an awareness campaign aimed at promoting the values of human solidarity, spreading a culture of cooperation and social cohesion, and reinforcing the principles of equality and non-discrimination among members of society. The campaign was held in conjunction with the celebration of the International Day of Human Solidarity, reaffirming the role of academic institutions in supporting humanitarian causes and enhancing community awareness of the importance of cooperation and collective action in addressing social and humanitarian challenges. The campaign was supervised by Lecturer Assistant Najaat Hamid Jassim, with active participation from a distinguished group of faculty members and students of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems, who contributed by delivering awareness activities and educational messages reflecting the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility. The campaign also highlighted several relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), most notably: Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, by promoting the principles of social justice and equal opportunities. Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, through spreading a culture of peace and peaceful coexistence. Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by encouraging teamwork and cooperation between students and faculty members in serving the community. This initiative comes as part of a series of activities implemented by the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems in support of the Sustainable Development Agenda, embodying the university’s role in building a conscious generation capable of contributing positively to community service and promoting noble human values.
