Under the supervision and follow-up of Dr. Abdul-Kadhim Mohammed Aswaid, and within the framework of promoting community participation and reinforcing the values of beauty and environmental awareness, the Media Department at the College of Arts – University of Al-Mustaqbal has launched an initiative to plant trees and greenery in the department’s corridors, with active participation from its students. The initiative aims to create a green university environment that contributes to improving the academic atmosphere and enhancing students’ environmental awareness, in addition to fostering a culture of teamwork and strengthening their sense of belonging to the academic institution. A number of students took part in planting seedlings and various plants inside the department’s corridors, in an atmosphere marked by vitality and cooperation. Participants expressed their happiness in contributing to this initiative, which reflects a strong sense of social responsibility and helps improve the university environment. For his part, Dr. Abdul-Kadhim Mohammed, the supervisor of the initiative, commended the participating students, affirming that this initiative is part of a series of activities organized by the department to promote positive values among students and to connect them with community and environmental issues.
