The Media Department organized a scientific seminar entitled “The Impact of Media on Social Reality,” delivered by the department coordinator, Assistant Lecturer Noumas Adhab, with the attendance of a number of faculty members and students. During the seminar, the lecturer discussed the pivotal role of media in shaping social awareness, the influence of media discourse on directing public opinion and forming trends, as well as the impact of media content on values and behaviors within society. He also emphasized the responsibility of the media in conveying the truth and strengthening social cohesion, especially in light of rapid digital transformations. The event witnessed notable interaction from students through questions and interventions that enriched the discussion, contributing to a deeper academic understanding of the role of media and its impact on social reality. This seminar comes as part of a series of scientific activities organized by the Media Department, aimed at enhancing intellectual awareness and linking theoretical aspects with practical applications in the field of media.
