Under the slogan of cultural openness and enhancing academic communication, the activities of the first day of the English Language and Literature Week Festival were launched with an official opening ceremony. The event was attended by the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi; the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Ahmed Rodhan; the Dean of the College of Arts, Dr. Hussein Waheed; the Head of the Department of English Language and Literature, Dr. Asim Abboud Zbar; and the Head of the Department of English in the College of Education, Dr. Salam Hassan Makki. The opening ceremony featured a number of diverse and distinguished activities that reflected the scientific and cultural significance of the festival and its goals in supporting students and the educational process.
