Scientific Seminar at Al-Mustaqbal University on Students’ Role in Environmental Protection Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, with direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and under the guidance of the Head of the Department of Medical Biotechnology, Dr. Husnain Khalil Ibrahim, the College of Science / Department of Medical Biotechnology organized a scientific seminar entitled: “Students as Partners in Protecting the Earth: From Individual Initiative to Collective Action.” This seminar comes ضمن the purposeful scientific activities that the College of Science is keen to organize, reaffirming its role in promoting scientific and environmental awareness among students, supporting academic culture, and activating scientific communication between faculty members and students, in a way that contributes to enhancing the educational process and consolidating the concepts of social responsibility. The seminar was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Safaa Mohammed Abada from the University of Babylon / Babylon Center for Historical and Geographical Studies. He presented a distinguished scientific lecture in which he addressed the seminar themes in a clear and systematic manner, highlighting the role of students in environmental protection and the importance of transforming individual initiatives into organized collective action that serves society. The seminar was attended by the Dean of the College of Science, a number of heads of scientific departments, faculty members, and a group of college students. The event also witnessed active interaction from the attendees through discussions and questions, which enriched the seminar topics and contributed to achieving its scientific and awareness-raising objectives.
