The “Colors of Birth Symposium”, organized by the College of Fine Arts at Al-Mustaqbal University as part of the Color Festival celebrating the New Year, witnessed active participation from several primary schools. This initiative aimed to strengthen artistic and educational communication between the University and educational institutions. The participation of primary schools reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to supporting and nurturing artistic talents at early educational stages. Among the notable participants was Al-Fatimiyah Primary School for Girls, along with other primary schools, whose pupils’ artworks added a distinctive creative character to the symposium’s activities. The artistic contributions presented by primary school pupils varied between artworks and simple handicrafts, reflecting children’s imagination and artistic expression. These works received positive interaction and wide appreciation from attendees, academics, and participating artists. Organizers of the symposium emphasized that involving primary schools in such artistic events contributes to discovering and developing talents from an early age, promotes a culture of art and creativity among children, and reinforces Al-Mustaqbal University’s role as an academic institution supporting education and arts within the community. Al-Mustaqbal University… the first university in Iraq.
