The Department of Anesthesia Technologies held a scientific seminar entitled “Tracheostomy”, delivered by Professor Dr. Saad Abdulrahim Al-Jubouri, on Tuesday, 23/12/2025, in the presence of the Head of the Department of Anesthesia Technologies, Professor Dr. Ahmed Khudair Al-Humairee, along with a number of department faculty members. The seminar addressed the definition of tracheostomy and its clinical importance, reviewing the indications for the procedure, the techniques used, and potential complications, in addition to the role of medical and technical staff in post-procedure patient care. This aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) through enhancing the quality of healthcare services and improving the efficiency of medical personnel. The seminar was attended exclusively by faculty members of the department, and included a productive scientific discussion and exchange of expertise in related clinical and anesthetic aspects.
