The College of Fine Arts organized an awareness workshop titled “Water Conservation,” delivered by Programmer Fatima Hussein and Programmer Sarah Faeq, as part of the college’s activities aimed at enhancing environmental awareness and promoting sustainability concepts among students.
The workshop addressed the importance of water as a vital resource for life and the necessity of conserving it through rational consumption and reducing waste. It also highlighted the role of creativity and modern technology—particularly programming—in developing smart solutions that contribute to effective water resource management. Emphasis was placed on the connection between artistic awareness and social responsibility in expressing contemporary environmental issues.
The workshop aimed to foster a culture of sustainability among students of the College of Fine Arts and to encourage them to employ art and digital technologies to disseminate awareness messages that support environmental protection and the preservation of natural resources for future generations.
Sustainability Goal:
This workshop aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), which seeks to ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all, and to raise awareness of the importance of conserving water as a fundamental human right
