Under the patronage of the President of the University of Future, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences, Professor Dr. Haider Al-Dulaimi, the Accounting Department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a scientific workshop entitled: “Scientific Research: From Idea to Publication.” The workshop was held on Tuesday, December 17, 2025, at the Sports Activities Hall / Medical Building – Ground Floor. The workshop was delivered by Professor Dr. Mahdi Salehi from Ferdowsi University, Islamic Republic of Iran, a distinguished researcher and a member of the editorial and review boards of several reputable scientific journals, with advanced academic rankings in Scopus and Google Scholar databases. The workshop aimed to highlight the stages of preparing scientific research, starting from idea selection, through research methodology, and concluding with publication mechanisms in internationally indexed journals, while providing practical guidance for researchers and postgraduate students. The workshop witnessed a notable attendance of faculty members, students, and researchers, and concluded with the awarding of certificates of participation to attendees, reflecting the university’s commitment to supporting scientific activities and promoting a culture of rigorous academic research.
