Forensic Evidence Department Holds Scientific Workshop: "Human Rights and the Role of Forensic Evidence in Achieving Justice"

The Forensic Evidence Department at the Faculty of Science – Al-Mustaqbal University held a scientific workshop titled: "Human Rights and the Role of Forensic Evidence in Achieving Justice," as part of its efforts to enhance rights awareness and promote principles of justice within the university environment. The workshop aimed to highlight the fundamental concepts of human rights and illustrate the role of forensic evidence in protecting these rights and supporting the justice system, through the application of scientific and legal methods to uncover the truth and ensure fairness. The workshop covered scientific topics, including the importance of adhering to human rights standards during investigative procedures, and the role of forensic laboratories in providing accurate evidence that contributes to upholding justice and preventing injustice, along with interactive discussions that enriched participants’ knowledge. This workshop reflects the Forensic Evidence Department’s commitment to supporting scientific and awareness-raising activities that prepare qualified personnel capable of linking human rights principles with forensic applications, thereby promoting the rule of law and serving society.
