In accordance with the directives of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the guidance of the Dean of the College of Medical and Health Techniques, Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, and under the supervision and participation of the Head of the Anesthesia Techniques Department, Dr. Ahmed Khudair Al-Humairee, with the participation of the Head of the Community Health Techniques Department, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Hanzal Tareesh, the Head of the Emergency Medical Techniques Department, Prof. Dr. Saad Abdulrahim, and a number of faculty members from the Anesthesia Techniques Department—Dr. Ahmed Ali Shaaban, Dr. Mohammed Abu Al-Saud, and Dr. Zaidoun Abdulwahab—along with a group of Sustainability Ambassadors students (second stage) from the Anesthesia Techniques Department, the Anesthesia Techniques Department at the College of Medical and Health Techniques organized a humanitarian activity represented by a visit to the Orphanage (Wasaya Al-Rahman for Orphans) in Al-Hillah / Al-Thawra.
This activity comes within the framework of enhancing social responsibility and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities), by caring for the most vulnerable groups and promoting the values of social solidarity. During the visit, winter clothing was distributed to orphans of different ages, both males and females, in the presence of the orphanage supervisor, Mr. Ali Al-Hilli.
The orphanage director and staff expressed their sincere appreciation and gratitude for this humanitarian initiative, praising the active role of the Anesthesia Techniques Department at Al-Mustaqbal University in serving the local community in Babil Governorate and emphasizing the positive impact of such activities in strengthening humanitarian values among students.
