On Saturday morning, Al-Mustaqbal University celebrated the Iraqi National Day in an atmosphere filled with pride and patriotism, with the attendance of a number of assistants, deans, heads of departments, and university staff members.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Khafaji, the Scientific Assistant Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khudair Al-Humairi, Head of the Department of Anesthesia, along with a group of faculty members, administrative staff, and university students.
The celebration began with the playing of the national anthem and a moment of reverence for the nation’s symbols and the sacrifices of its people, followed by the screening of a documentary film that depicted key milestones in Iraq’s rich history and its journey of progress and development over the decades, highlighting its civilizational, scientific, and humanitarian achievements that have made Iraq the cradle of civilization and a land of creativity.
On this occasion, the University Presidency affirmed that celebrating the Iraqi National Day reflects pride in the Iraqi identity and renews the commitment to continue working and building for a prosperous and secure Iraq. The Presidency also commended the vital role of academic institutions, particularly Al-Mustaqbal University, in promoting the values of citizenship and supporting the process of development and education in the country.
