The Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies continues to conduct practical lectures as part of the academic plan for the current academic year. The sessions were held in the department’s laboratories on Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, under the supervision of the specialized teaching staff.
These practical lectures aim to strengthen the students’ applied skills and enable them to acquire essential competencies in the field of anesthesia and patient care. The training also includes hands-on practice in operating modern medical equipment used in operating rooms and intensive care units.
Practical education is considered a cornerstone in preparing and qualifying students for professional practice in healthcare institutions after graduation. It bridges theoretical knowledge with real-world applications by simulating clinical environments and engaging students in realistic medical scenarios.
Faculty members emphasized the importance of attending practical sessions and active participation in laboratory activities, as they play a vital role in developing the students’ scientific and professional skills.
This activity aligns with the college’s vision of achieving educational and training quality and preparing qualified medical professionals who contribute to improving the healthcare system — in accordance with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education.
