Mrs. Ayat Mohammed Hamiza, from the Radiology Technology Department, visited the Al-Jumhuri Hospital to monitor the progress of the summer training program for students in the Radiology Technology Department.
Mrs. Ayat Mohammed Hamiza, a professor in the Radiology Technology Department, made a field visit to Al-Jumhuri Hospital to review the progress of the summer training program for the department's students.
During her visit, Ms. Hamiza met with department heads and supervising technicians at the hospital and listened to a detailed explanation of the practical activities and tasks assigned to the trainees. She emphasized the importance of enhancing students' practical skills and keeping pace with recent developments in radiology technology, emphasizing the need to integrate professional and ethical aspects into the training plan.
Mrs. Ayat also viewed the work environment in the diagnostic imaging departments (X-ray, CT, and MRI) and spoke with a group of students who expressed their happiness with this experience, emphasizing the significant benefits they gained from the practical application under the supervision of professional medical staff.
At the conclusion of the visit, Ms. Hamza directed recommendations to be made to improve the summer training structure. She also suggested holding periodic evaluation meetings between the department's management and the hospital's administration to ensure quality and continuous development.
This step comes as part of the department's efforts to enhance integration between academic and professional aspects and open broader horizons for students to effectively engage in the job market after graduation.
