The Medical of Instrumentation Techniques Engineering Department organized an important scientific trip to the Martyr Al-Muharrab Center for Heart Diseases and Open-Heart Surgery, with the aim of learning about the medical devices used in this field and getting acquainted with the latest technologies in open-heart surgery. The trip was organized under the supervision of the teaching staff, which included:

1. Dr. Maysar Munther Adnan
2. Dr. Amer Mohammed Khalaf
3. Dr. Ammar Imad Nadhim
4. Ali Ibrahim Morshed

The visit included a detailed tour of the center, where students had the opportunity to see how advanced medical devices are used in surgical procedures and other medical interventions. Detailed explanations were provided by the doctors and medical device engineers: Dr. Wissam Taj Al-Din, Director of the Martyr Al-Muharrab Center, Dr. Munhed Khudair Shakir, Head of Catheterization Rooms, Abdulbari Abdulwahab Ahmed, Engineer Munhal Rahman Abdul Amir, Engineer Abbas Mohsen Ibrahim, Engineer Ali Issa Mohsen, and Engineer Youssef Mohammed Rizqi.

They played a major role in welcoming the students and providing detailed information and explanations about the modern medical devices used in open-heart surgery.
