In pursuit of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically
Goal 4: Quality Education,
the Department of Power Mechanics Engineering Technologies organized a workshop for first-year students on air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The workshop was conducted by Engineer Mohammed Sabah Malik and Assistant Lecturer Ali Baqir. It included an explanation of the components of the refrigeration cycle (compressor, condenser, evaporator, and expansion valve), as well as the thermodynamic processes that occur in each part. This initiative aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, maximizing the benefits of the curriculum and enhancing academic rigor.
