On the morning of Saturday, at exactly 9:00 AM, the College of Science Council convened under the chairmanship of Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, with the presence of the esteemed heads and rapporteurs of the scientific departments.
The meeting focused on discussing several important topics related to the academic and administrative progress of the college. The main points addressed were as follows:
Receiving scientific research papers submitted for the First Science Conference.
Discussing the human resource needs of the departments, including teaching staff and support personnel.
Identifying the material needs, particularly those related to specialized and general laboratories.
Approving the research plan for the academic year 2025–2026.
Exploring avenues of collaboration with the Iraqi Journal of Science, based on the official request received from the journal’s Editor-in-Chief.
Reviewing preparations for the second-round examinations and their implementation procedures.
Following up on the progress of the examination committees’ work and ensuring their readiness.
Discussing various general matters related to the organization of academic and administrative operations in the college.
The meeting concluded with a set of recommendations that will be implemented in the coming period to further enhance the college’s academic and administrative performance.
