The President of ALMustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, visited the Sustainability Ambassadors exhibition held as part of the Ceremony Honoring Top Students and Sustainability Ambassadors at the university. The event was attended by several deans, department heads, faculty members, and students engaged in sustainability initiatives.
During his tour, the University President reviewed the projects, models, and innovations presented by students from the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems and other scientific departments, which reflected the students’ awareness of sustainability and green innovation and their role in supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi praised the efforts of the students and organizing committees, emphasizing that ALMustaqbal University continuously strives to promote a culture of sustainability and integrate it into its educational and research framework by supporting innovative ideas and encouraging initiatives that contribute to building a sustainable society.
He also commended the organization of the Ceremony Honoring Top Students and Sustainability Ambassadors, highlighting its message of pride in students’ academic achievements and their contributions to the environment and community. He affirmed that the university remains committed to empowering creative youth and motivating them toward a brighter and more sustainable ALMustaqbal.
