Distinguished Participation of the Department of Fuel and Energy Techniques Engineering in Institutional Accreditation Workshop at Al-Mustaqbal University

The Department of Fuel and Energy Techniques Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University actively participated in the specialized training workshop titled:
“Follow-up on Conditional Institutional Accreditation Cases”,
held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at the Grand Conference Hall on campus. The workshop was organized by the Quality Assurance Department in collaboration with the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority / Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The department was represented by:
• Head of the Quality Assurance Committee in the Department: Asst. Lecturer Shahad Ammar Hatem
• Deputy Head of the Department: Asst. Prof. Dr. Firas Thaer Raouf
• Department Rapporteur: Lecturer Dr. Hussein Kadhim Halwas
This participation reflects the department's commitment to engaging with quality assurance programs and staying updated on the developments regarding conditional institutional accreditation, in line with national standards for academic and administrative performance development.
The workshop welcomed wide academic participation from various universities and colleges, and featured insightful discussions on strategies to enhance institutional compliance and fulfill accreditation requirements in accordance with approved policies.
At the conclusion of the event, Al-Mustaqbal University and its academic departments, including the Department of Fuel and Energy Techniques Engineering, were praised for their efforts in supporting the quality assurance system and advancing academic excellence across Iraqi universities.
