Wireless communication technologies have witnessed significant advancements with the emergence of the fifth generation (5G), which represents a qualitative leap in data transmission speed, reduced latency, and increased network capacity. 5G relies on advanced technologies such as Massive MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output), intelligent beamforming, and millimeter wave (mmWave) frequencies. These innovations enable the support of advanced applications such as the Internet of Things (IoT), smart cities, and augmented reality. In the near future, research is focusing on the development of sixth-generation (6G) networks, which aim to achieve ultra-high-speed and more reliable connectivity by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), thereby enhancing the synergy between networks and intelligent systems to achieve greater efficiency and sustainability.
