n an atmosphere of enthusiasm and collaborative work, the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Hoda Hashem, welcomed the Sustainability Ambassadors team in a meeting dedicated to discussing the ongoing preparations for launching the "Sustainability Camp" activities, which aim to spread environmental awareness and promote sustainable development concepts among students.
The meeting included discussions on the camp's main themes, which encompass interactive workshops, artistic activities, and dialogue sessions aimed at embedding sustainability concepts in the educational environment and encouraging students to think critically and creatively about the issues facing their community and environment.
Dr. Hoda praised the ambassadors’ efforts and their sense of responsibility, emphasizing their important role in transforming theoretical concepts into practical initiatives that contribute to developing the university environment and achieving the faculty’s vision to be a model in sustainable education.
The attendees confirmed the importance of supporting such activities that connect academic and community aspects and enhance student engagement with contemporary issues through art, education, and collective work.
This meeting comes as part of the Faculty of Fine Arts’ efforts to strengthen its academic and social role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4: Quality Education, which seeks to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
