As part of its commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and promoting social solidarity, the Sustainability Ambassadors in the Forensic Evidence Department organized a volunteer campaign to distribute Ramadan food baskets to underprivileged families. This initiative was launched by the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University.
The campaign saw the participation of Ms. Riam Thaer, the Department Rapporteur, under the supervision of Dr. Aseel Al-Hassani, Head of Activities at the College of Science. Essential food supplies were distributed to support families in need during the holy month of Ramadan, fostering a spirit of cooperation and compassion within the community.
This initiative aligns with key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 1: No Poverty, Goal 2: Zero Hunger, and Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. Such efforts contribute to supporting vulnerable groups and enhancing the concept of social responsibility among students and faculty members.
Through this campaign, Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its commitment to fostering a culture of sustainability and volunteerism, encouraging students to participate in impactful community initiatives that create a positive change in society.
